Dr Richard Hall appointed as Postdoctoral Research Assistant
We are thrilled to announce a new academic member of staff to our School of Geography. Dr Richard Hall (pictured) was appointed as Postdoctoral Research Assistant in early March 2017.
Dr Hall previously worked as a field ecologist and teacher for many years, following graduation in Geography (BSc Hons) from the University of Bristol. He later returned to the University of Sheffield, completing an MSc in Polar and Alpine Change, and went on to study a PhD on the variability of the North Atlantic Polar Front Jetstream (2016). His current work involves climate-focused research; specialisms include sea ice, Arctic-midlatitude linkages and seasonal forecasting.
